In Brazil, we offer two types of cards, each with specific taxes:
💳 Local Card (uses BRL balance):
In Brazil: No taxes when using this card. ✅
Abroad: A government tax of 3.5% applies to each transaction, plus the card network’s exchange rate (e.g., Mastercard).
🌐 Global Card (uses USDc or EURc balance):
Abroad: No taxes when using this card. Uses your USDc or EURc balance purchased with no IOF tax.
In Brazil: No taxes when using this card. Just the conversion of your USDc or EURc balance to BRL.
