DolarApp complies with the rules and best practices of Brazilian regulation. For this reason, we have implemented a daily limit of 10,000 USD (or the equivalent amount in BRL or EUR) for currency conversions carried out by each user.
What does this mean in practice?
Transactions affected
The daily limit of 10,000 USD (or equivalent) applies exclusively to currency conversions:
BRL ↔ USDc
BRL ↔ EURc
Transactions not affected by the daily conversion limit
Transfers between DolarApp users
Deposits
Withdrawals
Card payments
These transactions do not count toward the daily limit, but they are still included in the monthly transactional limit of 15,000 USDc.
Parallel application with other limits
In addition to the daily limit, there is also a monthly limit of 15,000 USDc in transactions, which automatically renews on the 1st of each month. Both limits coexist and are applied independently.
How to increase the daily conversion limit
If you want to convert more than 10,000 USD per day (or the equivalent in BRL/EUR), you must provide proof of income.
Standard document accepted: Income Tax Return.
Flow within the app
When requesting a conversion above 10,000 USD, an automatic pop-up will appear.
You will be redirected to the limit increase screen.
On this screen, you can upload the required document.
After analysis and approval, an additional annual conversion limit will be granted to your account.
Special cases
In exceptional situations (e.g., specific clients or users with different needs), the DolarApp team may analyze the case individually. In such cases, alternative documents as proof of income may be accepted. To do so, you must contact support.
Additional limits
If the user also reaches the granted annual limit, it is still possible to request extra conversion limits. For these additional limits, other types of income verification documents may be required, which will be reviewed by the DolarApp team.
👉 Summary
There is now a daily limit of 10,000 USD (or the equivalent in BRL/EUR) for currency conversions in Brazil.
This limit is in addition to the monthly limit of 15,000 USDc in transactions.
To convert more than 10,000 USD in a single day, it is mandatory to provide proof of income (starting with the Income Tax Return).
Higher limits may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, upon submission of additional documentation.
