Safety & Regulation - Mexico

Updated over 2 weeks ago

At DolarApp, we are constantly working to ensure the security of your digital dollars and your account. Below, we explain the key points that support this:

📖 Regulation

Our operations in Mexico are carried out through a company legally incorporated in the country, and we report to the Tax Administration Service (SAT), which supervises compliance with applicable regulations.

Although DolarApp is not a bank or a traditional fintech and does not hold funds from users, we comply with local regulations related to virtual assets, transactions, and card operations.

Our primary role is to connect individuals who wish to acquire digital dollars (users) with independent liquidity providers. These partner companies fully comply with applicable regulations, including anti–money laundering requirements. In addition, we conduct a thorough review of user information to ensure the responsible use of our platform.

We are authorized to operate with virtual assets and comply with reporting obligations regarding:

  1. The purchase and sale of virtual assets.

  2. Transactions conducted with credit cards.

Furthermore, our processes are independently audited and certified, as demonstrated by our SOC2 certification and Security Audit.

🔐 Account Security

We have implemented the most advanced security measures to protect your account and transactions:

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): To ensure secure access to your account.

  • Card Freezing: You can easily freeze and unfreeze your card from the app in case of loss or theft.

  • 3DS Protection: Additional security for your online payments.

  • Tokenization: Your payment data is encrypted to keep it secure.

  • Top Partners. We also have world-class partners like Mastercard, which ensures the quality and trust of our services.

⚙️ Support When You Need It
